Vivo invest 200 million in Greater Noida; 20 lakh smartphones will be created every month

     Vivo will invest Rs 200 crores in Greater Noida for the manufacturing of its smartphone in India. The main goal of this investment is to produce 20 lakh units from this plant. Let us know, Vivo has already invested 300 crores for this plant. Vivo will increase its local manufacturing capacities after this investment. SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Lines has also recently been added to Vivo's Greater Noida plant.

     According to a statement from Vivo, this facility will assemble 20 lakh smartphones each month. The new SMT line will boost Vivo's Make in India goal. According to Vivo's statement, Vivo's flagship device Vivo Nex, X21 etc. will be manufactured here. The Vivo plant employs 5,000 employees, which build 25 million smartphones annually. Apart from the assembly of smartphones in this plant, there is also Vivo's in-house test lab, in which more than 1,000 quality and durability tests of smartphones are done.

     In a statement given to the media by Vivo, Vermont India's Chief Marketing Officer Jerome Chen said that Vieu's recently launched latest smartphone Vivo Nex has been built here. Our aim is to make this plant a Regional Manufacturing Hub for our smartphones. In addition to the Vivo X21 and Vivo Nex, other Vivo smartphones will also be assembled here. According to a recently released IDC report, Vivo (12.6 percent market share) has reached third place after Xiaomi (29.7 percent market share) and Samsung (23.9 percent market share) in terms of shipment of smartphones in the Indian market.
